So....I'm on a mission. It's not going to be an easy or cheap mission but one I can accomplish over time.

THE MISSION: Decorating My House!!!

We haven't done much with our house besides redoing the floors downstairs (disaster and needs to be re-done) and painting some walls. We "decorated" the girls rooms, which are cute but by no means really "decorated". We've done nothing else. No up-grades. No curtains. No accent pieces. Things are just put where I can put them. I have no clue how to decorate either. I am creative when it comes to easy crafts but when it comes the decorating.....I'm lost. I don't have a clue on what looks good, where it should go, or how to complete a look. I've been following some great blogs that have been really helpful so that's where i'm going to start. My mission is a long one and I don't know where to start. There's so much to do! In no particular order, here is the list of rooms I'd like to focus on:

Living room
Kitchen/Breakfast Nook
The girls rooms
The downstairs bathroom
The game/play room

That's pretty much it. I know the master bedroom and bathroom could use some decorating but who really sees it? I'll get to it eventually I hope but it's not my main focus. The formal dining room is currently being used at the craft/homework room so no need to really decorate it since it's not going to be a permanent craft/homework room. The office/music room is also not a huge concern to me. Of course eventually it will get done but if it doesn't, eh, who cares.

I have a lot of great ideas and a lot of DIY's that I'm planning on helping me along the way. One step at a time I guess. Follow me through this mission and I will post pictures as I go. Wish me luck!!
